Applying to Haybridge High School
Year 7 new intake September 2021
Parents/carers of children in Year 6 who have applied to Haybridge will receive their offer of a secondary school place on 1 March 2021 through their Local Authority. Please log on to your account with your Local Authority and indicate whether you are accepting the school place offered. It is very important that you accept (or decline) your offer as soon as possible. If you have not received any notification of your school place offer on 1 March, please check with your Local Authority as Haybridge will not be able to inform you directly.
If you have received an offer of a place at Haybridge, we will shortly send a welcome email to the email address you used in your application. If this is not your preferred email address, it is essential that you please update us without delay by emailing email@example.com with your child’s name, your name and your preferred email address. We will use email to send you important information and regular updates. Our transition programme, which has received much praise from parents/carers, aims to ensure that our new students come to us with confidence, feeling secure, informed and happy to start in their new school. Once you have received your welcome email, if you need further information please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
If your application for Haybridge was not successful and you wish to place your child’s name on our waiting list, please email us directly on email@example.com. We will respond with further details. We cannot accept telephone requests and we recommend that you do not rely on your Local Authority to pass on requests for the waiting list.
There is more general information on this page below in the FAQs (opens in a .pdf document). We are always happy to respond to enquiries but we recommend that you read the FAQs before contacting us, as you may find the answers to your questions there. If you would like more information about applying to Haybridge please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, email is currently the best way to contact us.
There is also more information below about admission appeals (opens in a .pdf document). Please read this information carefully before enquiring about an admission appeal.
For in-year transfer from another school into Haybridge in Years 7-11: please first contact the Admissions Officer at Haybridge for more information and guidance. Currently, as the school is operating under coronavirus restrictions, our lower school Admissions Officer is contactable only by email on email@example.com. Telephone messages including your email address may also be left with our reception on 01562 886213 and will be passed to our Admissions Officer who will then make contact with you by email. We accept applications for in-year transfer into existing year groups but the school is generally full and we may have to place your child on a waiting list. You can download an application form (CA1 form) from the Worcestershire County Council website here. From June 2020 Worcestershire School Admissions Team are co-ordinating applications for in-year transfer to all Worcestershire schools. You must return the CA1 form to Worcestershire according to the instructions on the School Admissions website and NOT to Haybridge.
To apply for transfer from Year 11 into our Sixth Form in 2021-22, please visit our Sixth Form page for more information and speak to the Sixth Form Admissions team.
Please read the relevant Admissions Policy below before contacting the school. You can view or download our Admissions Policy for Years 7-11 at the bottom of this page.
